The Ministry of Health ("MOH") has announced tighter social distancing measures to minimise the spread of COVID-19. Our priority remains in ensuring the safety of our tenants and shoppers as all properties work to adhere to the latest requirements set by MOH.
Our malls have since implemented the necessary steps according to their unique building and tenant configurations to ensure additional measures announced by the authorities are in place.
New requirements by the authorities include ensuring there is only 1 person per 16m 2, groups in any outlet are kept to 10 persons or less and the closure of businesses in the affected sectors. Malls will therefore need to undertake additional measures such as redirection of foot traffic from the carpark and entrances into the mall, limiting or closing entry points and access paths.
The individual properties will announce details of new measures implemented as soon as possible.
While these new measures may pose inconveniences to shoppers, we would like to thank all shoppers in advance as we work together to fight against COVID-19. Shoppers will be able to get updates via our malls’ websites and official Facebook pages.
We are working closely with all our affected tenants during this challenging period and are actively engaging our stakeholders to provide support where needed, as we all do our part to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
